What is Wushu Flowball?
Wushu Flowball (also call Rouliball柔力球), founded in 1991, is a modern traditional Chinese sport rooted in Tai Chi principles. Players use a specially designed paddle to keep the ball moving in smooth, circular motions. This sport combines fitness, competition, and entertainment, making it a unique representation of Chinese culture.
Wushu Flowball includes both choreographed routines and net-based matches, allowing for solo practice, partner rallies, or multiplayer exchanges. Originating in China, it has gained international recognition with global competitions and a growing community of enthusiasts.
Art Flowball includes solo, partner, and group practice methods. The key is to use curved, flowing racket movements to keep the ball spinning on the racket surface without falling off. Movements can be freely improvised, like dancing with music, or performed according to a fixed routine. This style does not require an opponent and can be practiced individually or with others to enhance coordination and control.
Game Flowball is a cooperative form of play between two or more people, where players pass the ball over a net. Instead of forceful hits or smashes, the ball is exchanged using soft, continuous, and arcing motions. It can be played one-on-one or in groups, making it both a great workout and a fun social activity, perfect for group exercises or casual leisure play.
